Relishing hot and delicious Gulab Jamun on a wintery night is something that we all do. But how about cooking it easily at home and then relishing it with your little munchkins? Yes. You got it right. We are hereby presenting a quick gulab jamun recipe that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- Sugar – 1 Kg
- Water – 2 Liters
- Oil for frying
- Rava or Sooji – 200 grams
- Paneer – 600 grams (grated)
- Nestlé MILKMAID – ½ tin
- Baking powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Baking Soda – 1 ½ tsp
- Cardamom – 6 to 8 (crushed)
- Flour – 200 grams or 2 cups
How to prepare:
Step 1: Take a bowl and add water to it. Let the water bowl. Now add sugar to the boiling water. Mix it properly to form a syrup. Also, add cardamom to the syrup. Once the syrup is cool, remove it from the heat.
Step 2: Take a bowl and add sooji/rava, paneer, flour, baking soda, baking powder and Nestlé MILKMAID. Gently mix all the ingredients and make a dough out of it. Please ensure that it is not kneaded much to give a soft consistency.
Step 3: Now, divide the dough into 30 to 35 portions. Dab little oil on both palms and gently roll them to form gulab jamuns.
Step 4: Put a wok on low heat and add oil. Once the oil is ready for frying, one should fry the gulab jamuns till they become golden brown.
Step 5: Once fried, keep transferring the gulab jamuns to the sweet sugary syrup. After all the gulab jamuns are dipped in sugar syrup, boil them and then take them off the flame.
Step 6: Gulab Jamuns are ready to be served.
- Besan Laddu Recipe
The healthy Besan Laddu should be repeatedly prepared, especially in winter. This sweet dish is very healthy and increases immunity in kids and adults. Let us check out the besan laddu recipe and prepare it at home.
Ingredients:
- Almonds – 25 (chopped)
- Cashew Nuts – 20 (chopped)
- Besan – 500 grams
- Refined oil – 100 ml
- Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee – 200 grams
- Nestlé MILKMAID – ½ tin
How to prepare:
Step 1: Take a wok and keep it on medium flame. Now add Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee, besan and oil in it. Saute the entire mixture and let it turn golden brown in color. Now, start adding chopped almonds and cashew nuts. Stir it well. Now place it aside.
Step 2: Once the mixture is cool, start pouring Nestlé MILKMAID. Stir and mix the entire mixture properly. Once it is mixed and has a consistent texture, let it be rested for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Now, make 24 portions from the mixture and roll them into laddus. Do not miss to dap ghee on both palms to bind them properly.
Step 4: Lastly, garnish the laddoos with some chopped almonds or cashew nuts and serve them to your kids.
